July Beauty Buys: Morphe Galore at Beauty Bay!

Hi guys!

So, a couple of days ago it was announced that my beloved Beauty Bay is parting ways with everyone’s favourite, Morphe. Initially, I was most upset because it’s so easy to order from Beauty Bay but then I read ‘discount’ and I was like, HELLO.

I haven’t personally dabbled into Morphe’s makeup, so I didn’t have a lot to go off apart from the rave reviews from almost every Youtuber with an affliate code. I do own a lot of their brushes though and they are pretty decent, I wasn’t worried about quality issues.

Eyeshadow: There wasn’t a lot to choose from since a lot of the stock has already sold out and they haven’t replaced it for obvious reasons. But the first thing I found was their 350 35 Colour Nature Glow palette which has been on my list for a while now. The palette arrived undamaged and ever so pretty! I don’t believe you can ever have too many warm-neutral toned shadows, and there’s enough of them to create both day and nighttime looks. The shadows all swatched really well, none of them were chalky. While it’s a big palette, it has pretty much everything you’d need.

This usually retails for £23.00 however, I paid £17.00 with the discount.

Primer: I also bought, which was totally unrelated and not in the sale, Milani’s eyeshadow primer. This was rated quite well on Beauty Bay and for £8.00, you can’t complain. It’ll be interesting to see how this works against my holy grail, Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Highlighter: I have wanted this highlighter for so long! These shades are all great, except ‘BehBeh Gurl’ which is the lightest shade. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, but this shade was really chalky and disappeared when I tried to apply it. The other shades were great though, and I’ll be able to use the darker shades for shimmer eye shadows. I bought the Babe in Paradise highlight palette for £24.00.

Setting Spray: I have seen this setting spray all over Youtube and when I saw this in the sale, I knew I had to try it. I really love the continuous mist, over the pump sprays with other setting sprays. You can feel the extra coverage you’re getting without your face being damp, it also feels fresh and light. I paid £12.00 for this, it usually retails for £15.00.

Their sale is still online now, so be sure to get involved here! What are your opinions of Morphe? Do you like it or is it over-hyped? Let me know in the comments below!

Love, Beth x
